General Terms & Conditions of Sale

These general terms and conditions of sale are entered into, on the one hand, CARTHAGE HERITAGE, a Monegasque company, having its registered office in 9 Rue des Oliviers 98 000 Monaco, registered in the Trade & Companies register under the number 15P08434, hereinafter referred to as " CARTHAGE HERITAGE " and, on the other hand, by all natural or legal persons who wish to make a purchase via the CARTHAGE HERITAGE website, hereinafter the "purchaser".

The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale is to define the contractual relations between CARTHAGE HERITAGE and the purchaser, as well as the conditions that are applicable to all purchases made via the CARTHAGE HERITAGE online store, regardless of whether the purchaser is a professional or a consumer. The purchase of a good or of a service via this site implies unreserved acceptance of these conditions of sale by the purchaser. These conditions of sale shall prevail over all other general or specific conditions that are not expressly approved by CARTHAGE HERITAGE. CARTHAGE HERITAGE reserves the right to amend its conditions of sale at any time. In this case, the applicable conditions shall be those in force on the date of the purchaser's order.

Characteristics of the goods and services on offer

The products and services on offer are those listed in the catalogue published on the CARTHAGE HERITAGE website. These products and services are available while stocks last. The catalogue photographs are as accurate as possible, but cannot guarantee perfect similarity with the product on offer, in particular in terms of colors.


The prices listed in the catalogue are inclusive of tax and in Euros, taking into account the VAT that is applicable on the date of the order; any change in rate could impact the price of the products or services. CARTHAGE HERITAGE reserves the right to alter its prices at any time, it being understood, however, that the price shown in the catalogue on the date of the order shall be the only price that is applicable to the purchaser. The prices shown include the order processing costs but do not include carriage and delivery charges or any custom fees.

Geographical zone

The online sale of the products shown on the website is reserved for purchasers who reside in the list of countries mentioned below, for deliveries that are required within said geographical zone.

Payment confirmation times

For orders placed before 6:00 p.m., payments are confirmed the next days as from 8:00 a.m.  For orders placed after 6:00 p.m., payments are confirmed two days later.


Purchasers who wish to purchase a CARTHAGE HERITAGE product must, as a mandatory rule: •    Imperatively have reached the legal age for purchasing and consuming our products, as defined by the law in force at their domicile, place of residence or place of delivery. •    Fill out the identification form, on which they will state all the contact information requested •    Fill out the online purchase order, stating all the references of the chosen products•    Validate their order after checking it •    Make payment under the stipulated conditions•    Confirm their order and payment Confirming the order implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, acknowledgement of full awareness thereof and waiver of the right to cite any other conditions of purchase. All of the data provided and the confirmation recorded shall constitute proof of the transaction. Confirmation shall be deemed equivalent to a signature and acceptance of the purchases made. The seller shall provide confirmation of the order acceptance by email.


All purchasers, with the exception of legal persons and individual business purchasers, benefit from a withdrawal period of 14 days as from the date of receipt of the delivery of their order. During this period, purchasers, with the exception of legal persons and individual business purchasers, may return products to the seller for exchange or a refund, without a penalty. Return carriage must be paid by the purchaser. Only products that can be resold can be exchanged or refunded, i.e. products that have not been opened and that have been returned in their intact, unopened, original packaging. Clients are liable for the risks associated with returns (loss or damage).

Terms of payment

Payment is required at the time of ordering. Payments must be made by bankcard and are processed via the PAYPAL & BRAINTREE PAYMENTS secure system that uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, which means that the information sent is encrypted by software and cannot be consulted by third parties while it transits over the network. The information is directly transferred to the bank, which manages the debit authorizations. CARTHAGE HERITAGE therefore does not have access to this data at any time. The purchaser's account is debited automatically at the time of ordering. Moreover, only the amount of the products or services supplied will be debited. Purchasers may request a printable electronic invoice.


The delivery time is between 48 business hours (Monaco), 4 business days (EU) and 7 business days (ROW) on average of confirmation of your payment. Deliveries are made to the address stated on the purchase order, which can only be in the geographical zone covered. The purchaser shall assume the risks as from when the products leave CARTHAGE HERITAGE’s premises. In the event of damage during carriage, a substantiated complaint must be filed with the carrier within three days of delivery. Delivery times are for information only; if they exceed thirty days as from the order, the sale contract may be rescinded and the purchaser reimbursed.


All products supplied by the seller are covered by the statutory guarantee provided for by the low If a product sold is non-compliant, it may be returned to the seller in return for an exchange or refund. All claims and requests for exchanges or refunds must be made by post to the following address: CARTHAGE HERITAGE 9 Rue des Oliviers 98 000 Monaco, within thirty days of delivery.


During the online sale process, the seller has a best endeavors obligation; its liability cannot be triggered due to loss or harm that results from use of the Internet network, such as loss of data, hacking, viruses, service disruptions or other unintentional problems.

Intellectual property

All aspects of the website are and shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of CARTHAGE HERITAGE. No one is authorised to reproduce, utilise, redistribute or use in any way whatsoever, even partially, the software, visual or aural aspects of the site. All simple or hypertext links are prohibited without CARTHAGE HERITAGE’s express written authorisation.

Personal data

In accordance with the law of Data Protection, purchasers' personal data may undergo automated processing. CARTHAGE HERITAGE reserves the right to collect information on purchasers, including via the use of cookies, and, if it so wishes, to transfer the information collected to business partners. Purchasers may opt out of the disclosure of their details by informing CARTHAGE HERITAGE. Moreover, users are entitled to access and correct their data, in accordance with the law.

Record-keeping - Proof

CARTHAGE HERITAGE will keep accurate copies of purchase orders and invoices on reliable, durable storage media in accordance with the provisions of the law. CARTHAGE HERITAGE’s computerised registers shall be deemed by the parties to be proof of the communications, orders, payments and transactions that took place between the parties.

Settlement of disputes

These conditions of online sales are governed by Monegasque law. In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction is conferred on the Monaco courts at the proper venue, notwithstanding multiple defendants or third party notices.

DHL information

Home delivery: You will receive an email when your package leaves the CARTHAGE HERITAGE premises. On the day the package is out for delivery, you will receive an email or an SMS from DHL informing you that you will be delivered that morning. DHL will deliver the package to you at your home, in person. You must sign for the package if you are present. If the package cannot be delivered, it will automatically be left at the DHL nearest post to your home. Subject to access, you will also find a delivery advice note in your letterbox. You will also receive a "digital delivery advice note" by email or SMS requesting that you go to the designated DHL post as from 2:00 p.m. the same day in order to collect your package. If you are unable to do so, you can also send the person of your choice to pick up the package. The person must present a letter of authorisation signed by you, your ID and his/her ID.
Please note that if the package is not picked up from DHL point within two weeks, it will be returned to CARTHAGE HERITAGE.Delivery at your workplace: You will receive an email when your package leaves the CARTHAGE HERITAGE premises. On the day the package is out for delivery, you will receive an email or an SMS from DHL informing you that you will be delivered that morning. DHL will deliver the package, which must be signed for, to your workplace.
